Professor Zhang Jian and his team from SUT School of Mechanical Engineering won the gold award (professional group) with their EBZ180 roadheader design in Shenyang Industrial Design Competition, which is sponsored by Shenyang Productivity Promotion Center and supported by Shenyang Science and Technology Office. Contestants from 14 provinces including Hubei, Gansu, Guangxi, Sichuan, Shanxi, Anhui, Henan, Shandong and Liaoning have handed in 532 pieces of work.
