Recently, the Ministry of Education released the list of the first batch of national first-class undergraduate courses.Seven undergraduate courses of Shenyang University of Technology (SUT) are on the list, making SUT come third among Liaoning provincial colleges and universities and first among Liaoning provincial colleges and universities for engineering. SUT’s seven national first-class undergraduate courses well demonstrated its achievements in improving the quality of undergraduate education, consolidating the foundation of course construction, setting up special funding for course construction, formulating course construction plan, and building first-class undergraduate courses. Meanwhile, they also fulfilled SUT’s zero breakthrough in building national first-class undergraduate courses, suggesting that SUT’s course construction has already reached a higher level.
