On October 22nd,an agreement signing ceremonywas held in the main office building at Tiexi Plant of BMW Brilliance Automotive. In the ceremony,BMW Brilliance Automotive and Shenyang University of Technologysigned the agreement on a joint Ph.D promotion programme.
This joint Ph.D. promotion programme is set up by BMW Brilliance Automotive through collaborating with domestic universities including Shenyang University of Technology. It aims to promote the development of old industrial base of Liaoning, enhance school-enterprise cooperation, and cultivate high-level personnel for enterprises. This is a four-year programme, which adopts the School-Enterprise cooperation, “two-mentoring” system, and designed for Ph.D. candidates who aspire to conduct research in depth and solve practical issues. The objective of this programme is to educate young technical and high-end innovative management personnel for automotive industry fitting into the requirements of transnational corporations. To this end,various methods are implemented in this programme, namely, technology research and development, professional training, oversea exchanges, scholarship funding and so on.
