Recently the “National Female Power Model” honour was conferred on Zhang Jian, head of the School of Mechanical Engineering’s teaching group, by All-China Women’s Federation. Established and led by Zhang and her team, the Industrial Design Center has now been recognized as national industrial design center, National Manufacturing Service Model Platform, National Public Technical Service Platform for Small and Micro Enterprises. The center has become an important technical support institution for the transformation of China's equipment manufacturing structure and the improvement of our market competitiveness.
