Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on the Result of the Recording and Approval of Undergraduate Programs in Universities and Colleges in 2018 (Higher Education Letter No. 7, 2019). According to this Notice, five newly added undergraduate programs in our university, namely, Robot Engineering, Internet of Things, Resource Cycle Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Intelligent Control, Energy and Power Engineering, have been approved by the Ministry of Education. Coinciding with our goal of constructing a “double first-class” university, the approval of these programs optimized the layout of our discipline and specialty structure, enriched our teaching resources and created a good opportunity for our development as well.
