The Fifth China college student material heat treatment innovation and entrepreneurship competition, sponsored by China Society of Mechanical Engineering, Ministry of Education, and Northeast University, recently came to an end. The three teams representing the School of Materials of SUT got through to the finals, winning one 1^stprize, one 3^rdprize and one excellent prize. Moreover,SUT students also obtained good results in other competitions. The student representatives of the School of Materials won one first prize in the 2^ndNational college student material forming process innovation competition and one first prize in the 3^rd“HAIMER Cup” Liaoning Province postgraduate surface engineering technology competition.
