On April 20,2020the results of the3rdInternational Essay Contest for Japanese learners sponsored by the Japan Institute of Cultural and International Exchangecame out.Wu Chaosong, a Japanese major from class 1602 of the School of Foreign Studies of our university, with his solid language skills and writing style, standingout from the competitors from 66 countries and regions, won the second prizeand was granted anaward of 50000 yen.His essay along withother outstanding worksin this Contest has beenedited in a collection which will bepublished by Asahi Shimbunin August, 2020.
