On October 16,2020, our university held an opening ceremony for the 2020 freshmen in the South stadium of the Central Campus. The University leaders, deans,administrative, student representative,parents of the freshmen,and more than 5400 freshmen were present. President Guo Lianjun delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Before the ceremony started,all the participants watched “Continuous Brilliance”, the propaganda film of Shenyang University of Tchnology,and a short welcome  film specially made for the 2020 freshmen.

At the ceremony,Professor Wang Dexi,teacher representative and doctoral supervisor of School of Mechanical Engineering,Wang Xinran, deputy director of the University Hospital,Tao Xingzhou, student representative and executive chairman of the University Student Union, Yang Chuankai, representative ofthe freshmen, Wang Tong,parent representative delivered speeches,respectively.Then, the University leaders pinned the university badge on the freshmen. The ceremony came to an end in the song,“My Motherland”.
