In 2020, Shenyang University of Technology (SUT) has submitted 178 applications for Natural Science Fund projects to the Natural Science Fund Center (NSFC). They are 1 for the Key National Project, 103 for the General Projects, 70 for the Young Scientists Funds project, 1 for the Joint Fund project, 1 for the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars project, 1 for the National Excellent Young Scientists Fund project, and 1 for the Research Fund for International Young Scientists project. After the NSFC’s formal review, 15 project applications of SUT were approved. They are 4 General Projects and 11 National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars projects. SUT thereby obtained 4.99 million Yuan of direct fundsfrom the NSFC, which brought the number of SUT’s projects funded by the NSFC to a new level.
