Recently,Liaoning Provincial Department of Educationannounced the list of the new-type think tanks at universities in Liaoningpovince in 2020. The Research Center of Liaoning Equipment Manufacturing Industry Development & Enterprise Growth of SUT is on the list as a selected new-type Think Tank, and the Research Base of Liaoning Northeast Asia Regional Economic Cooperation of SUT and the Research Center of Liaoning Big Data & Network Social Governance of SUT are on the list as pilot think tanks. This shows that SUT has achieved a new breakthrough in building think tanks at the provincial and ministerial-levels.
