On April 22^nd, Zhang Ke, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the University, was invited to attend the 8^th Meeting of the Special Committee of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Future Technology of the Committee of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Education held at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. That afternoon he also attended the 2^nd China Annual Meeting of the Joint Conference of Deans of Schools of Frontier Interdisciplinary Research and Symposium on Disciplinary Sciences at Zhangjiang Institute for Advanced Studies of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
