On the morning of September 21st, the 75th Anniversary Development Conference of the university was held in the stadium of the central campus. The conference was presided over by JIA Yuming, secretary of the Party Committee of the university. WANG Jian, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and executive vice governor of Shenyang, LV Zhicheng, deputy secretary of the Shenyang Municipal Committee and mayor, XU Guangwen, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress and president of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, ZHAO Gang, academician of the CAS Member, former secretary of the National Astronomical Observatory Party Committee and others attended the conference. Meanwhile, former leaders of the university, retired staff, representatives of alumni, representatives of teachers and students and others were present, more than 3000 people showing up at the event. The university flag-passing ceremony initiated the conference. Then, the decision of the Communist Party of China Shenyang Institute of Technology Committee announced the establishment of the Alumni Service Liaoning High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industry Development Research Institute of Shenyang University of Technology, which is followed by the unveiling ceremony of the research institute. The leaders, guests, alumni representatives, and representatives of teachers and students delivered their speeches respectively at the conference. The university also received considerable congratulatory messages on the 75th anniversary from partner universities home and abroad.
