Two SUT students, CHEN Junhong from School of Materials Science and Engineering and XU Xiaotong from School of Science, just won silver and bronze medals respectively in the 2024 Asian University Martial Arts Championships. This is the first time that SUT won medals at an Asian game. In addition, the SUT men’s volleyball team won the runner up award in Liaoning University Volleyball Tournament. The excellent performance of SUT athletes in the competition demonstrates an upward, brave and competitive sportsmanship. In the near future, the university will further enrich the students’ physical education activities, cultivate their sportsmanship, create a positive and healthy campus sports culture so as to promote the sustainable development of our physical education.
