The national finals of the 5th Global Campus Artificial Intelligence Algorithm Elite Competition, titled “Smart Youth Compute the Future” in 2023, just came to an end at the Jiangning Campus of Hehai University. 10 SUT teams reached the national finals, ultimately winning 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, and 2 third prizes. These prizes not only recognize the SUT teams’ hard work and excellent performance, but also embody the achievements the university has reached in talent cultivation and discipline construction. In recent years, the university has been exploring distinctive strategies to promote self-development. These strategies are namely: optimize artificial intelligence discipline structure and cultivate application-oriented talents via in-depth integration of artificial intelligence into specialized engineering teaching.
