By leveraging the distinctive strengths of the university’s first-class disciplines and rich resources of high-quality professional-degree graduate education, the school has established a new university-enterprise cooperative training mechanism for outstanding engineer cultivation.
Adhering to the motto of “Pursuit of Excellence in Theory and Craftsmanship with Ethos of Science and Ingenuity” , our school defines its talent cultivation mission with a distinct focus on advanced theoretical knowledge, refined engineering skills, the dedication of scientists, and the ingenuity of craftsmen, aiming to cultivate outstanding engineers who possess practical engineering capabilities, excel in solving complex engineering challenges, and demonstrate outstanding expertise in areas such as technological breakthroughs, product development, and engineering innovation. Enhancing Shenyang University of Technology's reputation as the “Cradle of Outstanding Engineers” and establishing a model demonstration site for outstanding engineer training among regional universities are the concerns of the school.
Our school has established joint training programs of Engineering Master's and Doctoral Students with central state-owned enterprises such as China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC), China General Technology (Group) Holding Corporation, China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Group Corporation (CAM), and China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC), founding a college board of directors in partnership with more than 30 well-known enterprises within the province, including Shenyang Blower Works Group, SIASUN Robot & Automation Corporation, and SANY Heavy Industry, to jointly cultivate graduate student and achieve breakthrough in core technologies.
In the future, closely aligning with the strategic goals of building a strong country in education, science & technology, and talent, we will focus on accelerating the development of new high-quality productive forces, further deepen reforms in engineering graduate education, and train exceptional engineers capable of developing critical technologies and facilities of great national strategic importance, as well as undertaking era-defining responsibilities.
