In the afternoon of November 13, 2019, the meeting on promoting the 5thNational Discipline Assessment was held in Room 429 in the Administrative Building. Guo Lianjun, president of the University, hosted the meeting. At the meeting, representatives of 20 first-class disciplines of our university made their reports on the development of their disciplines pertinent to their teaching faculty, the quality of their faculty training, their current students and their graduates, their research achievements, their research awards, their research projects, their social services, their discipline ranking, etc. These representatives also reported the existing problems and difficulties in developing their disciplines and elaborated their plans to solve these issues so as to meet the criteria of the 5thNational Discipline Assessment. After hearing the reports, the leaders and experts at the meeting gave their advice on the solutions to the problems and difficulties reported.
