On June 22, SUT received an official document fromLiaoning ProvincialDepartment of Industry and Information Technologyguidingthe University to set up a University-Enterprise Cooperation Committee. SUT is the first provincial university in Liaoning that launches the establishment of the University-Enterprise Cooperation Committee. The Committeechieflyfocuses on six main tasks. First, it provides senior leaders of member enterprises of the Committee and those of SUT with opportunities of periodical exchange visits. Second, it keeps on establishing exchange platforms for entrepreneurs and technology experts. Third, it works on fostering long-term and stable strategic technical cooperation between SUT and member enterprises. Fourth, it works with the member enterprises to solve the problems which are hindering their development. Fifth, it accelerates the transformation of scientific and technological achievements of our university in Liaoning. Last, it effectively serves the local economy and the high-quality development of industriesin Liaoning.
