On the morning of June 24, SUT held the 2021 graduation and degree awarding ceremony in the stadium of the central campus. All university leaders, members of the Academic Degree Committee of the University, graduate representatives, secretaries and deputy secretaries of the party committees of all schools, directors of the Student Affairs Department of the Party committee, student counselors, and teacher representatives attended the ceremony to celebrate the graduation of 3105 undergraduates and 1197 postgraduates.

Guo Lianjun, president of the University and chairman of Graduate Committee, conferred degrees on graduate representatives and delivered a speech at the ceremony. Yuan Xiaoguang, vice president of the University, read out the document of awarding degrees to the 2021 graduate and that of the 2021 Liaoning Award for Excellence graduate. All university leaders and alumni representatives presented awards to the outstanding graduates.

Zhao Yang as the alumni representative delivered a speech. Professor Xia Jiakuan as the teacher representative had a warm congratulatory message for the graduates. Tao Xingzhou as the graduate representative led all the graduates to recite the Graduate Student Oat.

After the ceremony, Liu Zikang, secretary of the Party Committee, and other leaders of the University had a dinner with the graduates.
