From August 22nd to 23rd, the final of “Weishi Cup” the 10th National Machinery Innovation Design Competition for College Students was held at Shenzhen University of Technology. Two teams from Shenyang University of Technology won prizes in the Final. Team 1 formed by 5 students, Wang Miancai, Ma Jinyu, Pan Li, Liu Jialong, and Duan Yuting, under the guidance of Tang Henan, won the first prize for their work, “Biomimetic Spider Man for Cleaning Glass Curtain Walls in High-rise Buildings”. Team 2 formed by 5 students, Jin Chunxu, Chang Wenxin, Guo Ao, Shang Qunran, and Zhou Baozhen, under the guidance of Zhao Tiejun, won the second prize for their work, “Red crowned Crane for Wetland Exploration Biomimetic Machinery”. These achievements are the new breakthroughs Shenyang University of Technology has ever created in this competition since 2014.
