On September 10^th, the 40^th National Teachers’ Day Celebration was held at SUT. The event was chaired by KE Li, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president. JIA Yuming, secretary of the Party Committee of SUT, and others attended the event. CHEN Yanming, member of the Party Committee and vice president, read out the list of national model teachers, teachers who received awards for excellence in teaching and student counselling and the retired teachers. Then, these teachers received awards from the leaders; representatives of award-winning teachers delivered their speeches; and the new teaching staff made solemn vows. Finally, JIA Yuming, secretary of the Party Committee, delivered a speech at the closing ceremony.
