On August 20th-22nd, SUT held the 2024 Northeast Three Provinces and One Region Forum on Materials Discipline High-quality Construction. ZHANG Ke, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The attendees include Professor GENG Lin and Professor QIN Gaowu from the Materials Science and Engineering Discipline Evaluation Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and 110 experts and scholars from 27 universities, including Harbin Institute of Technology, Jilin University, Dalian University of Technology, Northeastern University, Harbin Engineering University, and Inner Mongolia University of Technology. The forum establishes a platform for universities and enterprises to carry out communication and cooperation. Thus, this forum is of great significance for promoting the further development of materials discipline in the Northeast region.
