On August 24th, the unveiling ceremony of the School of Elite Engineers of SUT was held in the Science Hall of the Central Campus. At the ceremony, JIA Yuming, secretary of the Party Committee, presented the plaque to the representatives of the directors of the board of the school. CHEN Yanming, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president, read out the decision of the Party Committee of SUT on establishing the School of Elite Engineers. After the ceremony, Elite Engineer Talent Training Forum, Elite Engineer Industry Education Integration Collaborative Education Seminar, and Symposium on the Special Plan of Engineering Master’s and Doctoral Training Reform were held. In time to come, the university will take the cultivation of elite engineers as a priority and build a new pattern of university-enterprise collaboration on elite engineer training to meet the demands of enterprises.
