The 9^th National Student Military Training Camp was held from July 27^th to August 8^th at Xi’an Engineering University of PAP in Shaanxi Province. YANG Lei, student of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of SUT, came first in the assessment of light arms shooting course with high distinction, and was interviewed by CCTV’s National Defense Military Channel. SUT has attached great importance to national defense education for a long time, and successively won the honors of Exemplary Organization for Student Military Training in Liaoning Province, Exemplary Organization for National Defense Education in Shenyang, Exemplary Organization for Military Recruitment in Shenyang and so on. So far, the university has already nurtured many exemplary individuals for military training and military recruitment in Liaoning Province.
