The 2024 Frontier Academic Symposium on Intelligent Manufacturing and Mechanical Dynamics was held in Shenyang from August 9^th to 12^th. This symposium was jointly hosted by Shenyang University of Technology and Shenyang Jianzhu University. More than 150 experts and scholars, who were from over 40 universities, enterprises, and related fields, were present at the conference. The theme of the conference focuses on the scientific development of machine tools and intelligent manufacturing technology, mechanical dynamics, on-machine testing and intelligent maintenance technology and so on. Four experts, including academician WANG Shuxin, were specially invited to give their speeches, and eight experts, including associate research fellow NIE Rui, delivered their keynote speeches at the conference as well. Meanwhile, academic exchange activities were held by the Mechanical Dynamics Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Vibration Engineering, the Online Detection Technology and Intelligent Manufacturing Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Metrology and Testing, and the Production Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering at three sub venues.
