Recently, the Innovation and Talent-Introduction Base for High-Performance Transmission and Low-Carbon Intelligent Equipment of SUT has been approved under “111 Project”. This is SUT’s second national-level discipline innovation base under this Project. The approval of this base marks a new breakthrough of the university in international cooperation and discipline construction.
Under the leadership of Professor Zhang Ke, the base will focus on research in high-end equipment manufacturing. It will promote interdisciplinary integration of mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence and materials science, strive to break through key core technologies, and serve the national strategic needs. It will also build an international innovation platform, promote the industry-university-research collaboration, and provide important support for cultivating international innovative talents and enhancing the international competitiveness in various disciplines.
