On 23rd of April, Chai Tianyou, an academician of the CAE Member, has been appointed as a strategic scientist of SUT. Jia Yuming, Secretary of the Party Committee, President Zhang Ke and others attended the appointment ceremony. President Zhang presented a letter of appointment to Academician Chai. As a strategic scientist of SUT, Academician Chai will provide strategic guidance for SUT’s project on empowering industrial control technology with artificial intelligence.
After the ceremony, Academician Chai gave a special report on “Industrial Intelligent Systems Based on New Generation Information Technology” to more than 300 teachers and students. The cooperation between Academician Chai Tianyou and SUT will help the university achieve new breakthroughs in the field of industrial intelligence.
