Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the list of the third batch of National First-class Undergraduate Courses. Nine undergraduate courses of SUT are in the list. So far, SUT has a total of 24 National First-class Undergraduate Courses, ranking first among all the provincial engineering universities.

SUT attaches great importance to its discipline construction. To promote its discipline construction, many incentive measures have been taken, including setting up special funds, building a three-level cultivation system and so on. A three-level system has also been built, which is a system of university-level cultivation, provincial-level selection, and national-level demonstration.

With the guidance of experts, SUT has obtained good achievements in discipline construction regarding Smart Courses, MOOCs, and global integrated courses in recent years. In the future, SUT will continue to deepen its educational reform, build a new ecology to construct first-class courses, and provide solid support for cultivating high-skilled talents.
