Recently, the National Finals of the 9th National College Student IC Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Shanghai. Over 7400 teams from 517 universities across the country participated in this competition. Among these team, SUT ranked the top 20 based on its overall score, winning 3 first prizes, 1 second prize, and 7 third prizes in the National Finals of this competition. Thus, SUT was granted the “National Excellent Organization Award”.
SUT paid great importance to this competition and did considerable preparatory work before the competition. It includes arranging training programs and simulation exercises, selecting qualified team members and supervisors, and providing laboratories as venues for the team. The award-winning works of the SUT team are not only the embodiment of the application of specialized knowledge but also achievements of SUT’s integration of specialty and innovation and that of industry and education in nurturing students.
In the future, SUT will further its educational and teaching reforms, optimize its talent cultivation system, and serve the revitalization of Northeast China and China’s self-reliance in science and technology.
