Recently, SUT achieved excellent results in national and provincial sport competitions. At the National Chinese University Martial Arts Routine Championship held at Wuqing District, Tianjin, the SUT team won one gold medal and one silver medal against participants from 241 universities across the country.
In the 3rd Liaoning “Governor’s Cup” Football League Finals, the SUT women’s football team, despite the main player being injured, won the runner up and advanced to the national finals.
These achievements are indispensable to great efforts SUT made in implementing its “all around development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetics and labor” education and its enforcement in physical education. In the future, SUT will continuously abide the principle of engaging sport competition into the process of training and nurturing our students in physical education.
