On the morning of October 31st, 2025, a delegation led by Alexander Galkin, Dean of the School of Computer Science at Lipetsk State Technical University in Russia, visited SUT. Vice President Xia Mingchao, along with the school deans and the director of the International Cooperation Office, met with the delegation in the conference room at the administrative building.
At the meeting, Xia Mingchao first extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Then, he introduced the history of our university, our advantaged disciplines, and examples of our international collaboration with our partners. Alexander Galkin detailed the advantaged disciplines of Lipetsk State Technical University and their examples of international cooperations. He extended an invitation to our students for further their studies in Russia, and suggested to establish a research-practice platform through university-enterprise collaborations. Subsequently, the two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on cooperation in joint research and faculty/student exchanges. This meeting lays a foundation for further expanding cooperation between the two universities.
