The majors followed can be awarded bachelor's degree: law major, advertising major, environmental designmaj major,visual communication design major.
Ⅰ. Law major
Humanity and Law School possesses the right to grant both bachelor and master’s degree. The law major mainly consists of such courses as jurisprudence, Chinese legal history, constitutional law, civil law, commercial law, intellectual property law, economic law, criminal law, administrative law and procedure law as well as international law, international private law and international economic law and so on. Some professional courses, such as International economic law, contract law, maritime law, international private law, legal English courses, adopt bilingual teaching method to improve the degree of internationalization of law major. Humanity and Law School have established excellent exchange mechanism for undergraduates and postgraduates with Taiwan Shih Hsin University, and more than 10 students have already gone to Taiwan Shih Hsin University to exchange study.
Ⅱ. Advertising Major
The profession has a bachelor's degree conferment. The professional aims to train students to master the basic theory of advertising knowledge and design methods, and be familiar with the advertising process and advertising planning. What’s more, it helps students to acquire strong design ability, innovative spirit and good professional ethics. Students receive advertising planning, creative and production, marketing and implementation capabilities training, which helps they master the basic knowledge and skills of implementation process of advertising and management. It focuses on cultivating application-oriented talents with high comprehensive quality who are engaged in advertising planning and creativity, market operation and management in advertising companies, media and enterprises.
Advertising professional expertise places emphasis on the cultivation of practical ability of students and focuses on practice platform construction of trinity of media, businesses, and advertising company. And it has signed an internship employment base agreement with more than ten units, including: Liaoning broadcasting and TV station, the new East Pharmaceutical, Long Bang Hui Chi, promote advertising, Lyrics Home, Jinling Group and other famous companies. Extend the course of classroom teaching with expert lectures and experimental simulation training in school. In practice, we have set up a large number of practical courses and experimental courses in the training program. In the new media era, we have actively introduced new media practice and training sessions, opened up channels of communication between campus and society, and actively broadened the channels for students' participation in practice. Ⅲ. Environmental Design Major
The profession has a bachelor's degree conferment. Environmental Design major students are mainly engaged in indoor and outdoor decorative design, environmental landscape design, environmental planning and design, landscape design and construction management and so on. It focuses on cultivating application-oriented talents with high comprehensive quality who have a solid foundation of professional theory and expertise in environmental planning and design, interior and exterior decoration design, landscape and landscape design, architectural design and other aspects of teaching, design and research jobs in the culture, design, schools, research institutes and other enterprises and institutions.
During the academic year, students take the basic and professional theoretical course, master various types of decorative materials and construction techniques, and understand the discipline's development and market dynamics, which enable students to have a strong sense of expertise and innovation. The main professional courses include: computer aided design, design introduction, color composition, Chinese and foreign design history, architectural design, residential planning and design, landscape design, display design, model making, sketching, drawing and other basic courses.
Environmental design professional is equipped with studio, classrooms, reference room, laboratories and other relatively complete teaching facilities, and has established a number of internship bases in the surrounding area of Shenyang.

Ⅳ. Visual Communication Design Major
The profession has a bachelor's degree conferment. The major is recognized as a multidisciplinary applied major, including arts, technology, science and economics. The profession cultivates students to master solid professional knowledge and skills. Besides, it attaches importance to artistic creativity, comprehensive ability to communicate, research and analysis ability and market adaptability in visual elements of art in print media and dynamic media. Additionally, it helps students to form innovation and entrepreneurship spirit and comprehensive quality and meet the needs of social development, which make them to be able to engage in the design communication, teaching, research and management of visual design in the field of professional design, enterprises, media organizations, enterprises and institutions and other departments.
The professional curriculum system consists of five parts: general education courses, professional core courses, professional elective courses, intramural and out-college practice, experimental courses and quality development courses, which focus on cultivating students' acute perception and creation of visual elements such as graphics, color and writing, training students to use visual elements for comprehensive expression of graphic design, and highlighting the application of multimedia technology in visual design and the cross-blending of technology and visual design. Combining the characteristics of the ages and making solid basic skills and artistic accomplishment as the prerequisite, the profession strengthens the innovative teaching of basic design skills and cultivates compound talents in visual design. The main courses include: computer-aided design, book binding design, photographic basis, computer-aided design, logo design, packaging design, advertising design, corporate image design.
