On 21st of February, the Education Department of Liaoning Province issued the Notice on Publishing the List of Awarded Undergraduate Outstanding Teachers in Liaoning Province in 2024. Four teachers from SUT were awarded as Liaoning Outstanding Undergraduate Teachers. They are namely: Wang Feng from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Li Qian from the School of Economics, Zhang Yuxian from the School of Electrical Engineering, Hou Qiang from the School of Management.
In recent years, SUT has deeply implemented the Leading Plan of Outstanding Teacher, through the personalized one to one training program and already trained a total of 25 provincial-level outstanding teachers over the past five years. It has built a teacher development system led by outstanding teachers and supported by the key academics to help the junior teachers with their professional growth. This system provides strong guarantees for improving the quality of talent training. The university will continue to promote the spirit of educators and cultivate more high-quality teachers for its “Double First Class” construction and the revitalization of Liaoning.
