On the morning of October 21st, 2025, a delegation led by Yuri Ramanuski, President of Belarusian Polotsk State University paid a visit to SUT. President Zhang Ke and Vice President Xia Mingchao, along with the school deans, met with the delegation at the conference room at the administrative building.
At the meeting, Zhang Ke firstly gave a warm welcome to the delegation and briefed the development of SUT over the few decades. He also expressed his hope that both sides could deepen cooperation in joint application for Confucius Institutes and joint programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Then, Yuri Ramanuski introduced the preponderant disciplines of Belarusian Polotsk State University, especially their advantages in the field of oil and gas engineering. Both parties also exchanged their opinions on the progress for their joint (4+0) undergraduate program in oil and gas storage and transportation engineering and reached a consensus on its course docking. They also discussed joint applications for Confucius Institutes, technology research and development, and other cooperation contents.
After the meeting, the delegation was given a tour to the Science and Technology Achievements Exhibition Hall. Their visit laid a solid foundation for deepening the cooperation between the two universities.
