The School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering can confer bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees. We have two undergraduate programs (i.e., Energy Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering), four postgraduate programs (i.e., Chemical Engineering and Technology, Environmental Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Resources and Environment), and one doctoral program (i.e., Carbon Neutrality Science and Engineering). The school currently has 68 faculty members, 76.5% of whom have doctoral degrees. The faculty includes 15 professors, 27 associate professors, 44 adjunct professors, 13 doctoral supervisors, and 43 master supervisors. In the past three years, the faculty secured 46 national and provincial-level research projects, received 6 provincial-level or higher science and technology awards, generated annual research funding exceeding 10 million RMB, published 8 monographs, and hosted or participated in over 30 domestic and international academic conferences.

Our school has 1 Liaoning Provincial Key Laboratory, 3 Liaoning Provincial Engineering Technology Research Centers, 1 Provincial Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Practice Base, 1 new R&D institution, and 1 “Xingliao Talents” Innovation Team. We also attach great importance to school-enterprise cooperation. Until now, a number of cooperation institutions have been established, including 1 school-enterprise R&D base, 2 industrial alliances, 3 cooperative research institutes, and 11 joint training bases. There is a Provincial Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center (chemical and environmental experiment center) for undergraduates. The center includes 5 teaching laboratories and over 40 research laboratories, covering nearly 10,000 square meters. The instrumentation is valued at over 20 million RMB.
